The Show Is Set In The Arctic
In 1847, the Royal Navy ship HMS Terror set sail from England on an expedition to find the Northwest Passage. The ship, commanded by Captain Sir John Franklin, was carrying 129 officers and men. Once the ship got stuck in the ice, the crew was forced to abandon the ship and try to find their way back to England. They faced many challenges, including hunger, cold, and sickness. Many of the crew members died, and the survivors were eventually rescued by another expedition.
The Arctic was chosen as the setting for the show because it is one of the most inhospitable places on Earth. The crew of the expedition must contend with extreme cold, lack of food, and dangerous wildlife. In addition, they are constantly under threat of being crushed by the ice.
The crew then splits up, with some members staying at the camp and others going out in search of help. The search party eventually finds a group of Inuit people, who agree to help them. However, the Inuit are soon attacked by a polar bear, and several of them are killed.

Conclusion
The Terror Season 1 was one of the best horror shows we’ve ever watched. We’re not usually fan of British period shows but this one definitely got us hooked. Jared Harris is such a good actor and his portrayal of Captain Crozier really made this movie so much more believable.
If you’re looking for something different in horror shows, but are too tired of watching vampires and zombies, then this is highly recommended by us. The first season is definitely the best and although the 2nd season is okay, the first season in the anthology is definitely of the highest quality.
